Wheeler & Associates, PC was founded in 1991 as a successor to a larger local CPA firm.  We have focused on individual income tax return preparation and planning, small non-public owner managed businesses in a variety of industries, computerized accounting system needs, and associated management consulting.  While our primary service area is central Indiana, we have clients in many other areas of the United States.  We prefer to forge close, hands-on relationships with our clients. 

We are a small firm on purpose because we feel that becoming too large a firm would limit our ability to maintain the close, personal relationships we want with our clients.  We have relied on our friends and clients' referrals to bring us the bulk of our business. 

Being small means we do have limitations in the breadth of services we offer.  We cannot offer services over too broad of a range and maintain the quality of work and service levels we want.  We cannot be, and do not want to be, all things to all clients.  We have found that this works well for us and our client base, and, when needed, specialized services can be obtained from other providers we can recommend on an ad hoc basis.
